Yes - A visa is required for travel to Sao Tome and Principe

The government of Sao Tome has implemented a visa-free stay for selected nationals. Visa exemption is for a maximum stay of up to 15 days. Travellers can enter and exit Sao Tome multiple times for up to 15 calendar days from the moment of crossing the state border.


Passport Requirements:

• Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page


Other Forms:

You must hold all documents required for the next destination


Proof of Travel Arrangements:

You must hold proof of onward/return airline tickets and confirm with their airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa as these conditions are subject to change


Proof of Sufficient Funds:

You must hold proof of sufficient funds


Special Instructions:

You must hold a valid visa issued by a Schengen member state or the U.S.A.
